We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of Boys PE to join our fantastic team at Manchester Enterprise Academy (MEA)

This is a permanent opportunity to join our dynamic PE department supporting the Boys PE curriculum on Teaching terms. Offering MPS-UPS pay scale starting in September 2025 or January 2026.

We’re looking for:

• You will need to be qualified to teach and work in the UK with successful experience in the 11-16 phase. You will need to have thorough subject knowledge and an understanding of current curriculum developments in Physical Education, you will also be a good communicator with the ability to develop effective working relationships.
• You will have the ability to deliver quality PE teaching that drives achievement and inspires a love of learning.
• You will be able to demonstrate experience of achieving positive outcomes for pupils, as well as being passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people.
• You will be expected to match the characteristics described in the Professional Standards for Teachers and required to fulfil the professional responsibilities which are common to all classroom teachers.

As a committed team player, you will have excellent organisational skills and the natural ability to motivate both pupils and peers.

Key responsibilities will include:

• To plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective PE learning activities across school
• Foster an inclusive environment where every student's unique needs and strengths are acknowledged and supported.
• Organise and lead extracurricular activities, including PE and sports clubs and physical fitness events such as sports day
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment, ensuring students are always adhering to health and safety guidelines.
• Work closely with colleagues to contribute to the wider school community and promote a holistic approach to student development.
