About The Role

Contract Type: Permanent, Term Time Only plus inset days
Working Hours: Full Time, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Number of positions: 1
DBS Check Required: Enhanced
Qualifications Required: GCSE/O Level English & Maths.  Recognised Social Work qualification or other qualifications relating to child protection
Aplicant Requirements: Full, clean driving licence with business insurance
Pre-employment Health Assessment Required: Yes
Start Date (Subject to pre employment checks): 1st January 2025
Salary: Grade 6 - Actual Salary £27,624 - £30,991

We are looking for an enthusiastic member of support staff who is committed to supporting young people and the school as a Child Protection Officer within the Child Protection Team, within our high achieving, vibrant, multi-cultural school for girls.

About the Candidate

The successful candidate must be fully conversant with the statutory requirements and safeguarding procedures relevant to the needs of pupils and to be an advocate for pupils, supporting and promoting their welfare.

The post holder will work closely with staff, parents, and other outside agencies.

The successful candidate will undertake first aid training.

The successful candidate will join a committed team within this outstanding, successful school.
