The Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational teacher with the skills to create a supportive and inclusive environment where children flourish.

Sacred Heart is an over-subscribed, one-from entry primary school which is at the heart of the local community, where pupils thrive; pupil outcomes and attendance is very strong. The school is very well resourced with exceptional outdoor provision and extensive grounds.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be an excellent classroom practitioner who will promote and embrace the school’s ethos and aims.
  • Will have high expectations of learning and behaviour; and demonstrate a commitment to raising standards and achieving the best possible outcomes for all pupils.
  • Be supportive of the Catholic faith of the school and promote the Catholic ethos.
  • Work positively with pupils, parents and effectively contribute to the school team.
  • Be self-motivated and committed to contributing to the continued development of the school.
  • Have a good knowledge of the primary curriculum
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm, energy and a sense of humour.
