About The Role

Contract Type: Permanent, Term Time Only plus 5 inset days
Working Hours: Part Time, 30 hours per week
Number of Positions: 1
Qualifications Required: Numeracy/Literacy skills with a good level of knowledge and understanding (at a level equivalent to NQF Level 2) 
Salary: Grade 2 £24,027 per annum (Actual Starting Salary £17,714 per annum)

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant Level 1 to join our fantastic team at CHS South, starting once pre-employment checks are complete.

About the Candidate

The candidate will support access to learning and provide general support for the school in the management of pupils and resources, as directed by senior staff.

They will also work collaboratively with all staff and parents in order to support pupil wellbeing and to promote the five outcomes of Every Child Matters.

Key relationships in the role will be all members of staff (Teaching, Safeguarding team, Pastoral team, SENCO, SLT), students, governors, and parents.
